Who is Rise?

• Rise has been a WoW guild since ~2015. Starting in Kronos II, Lightbringer/Elysium, Northdale, and throughout Classic Vanilla Rise was the #1 speed-running guild in North America. We achieved multiple Top 10 and several World #1 in both race to world first, and speed performance. Rise went on to TBC and Wrath as a casual guild. Now Dredd is back to lead Rise in the sunset days of Classic Era WoW on Whitemane!

What are the goals of this GDKP?

• As a GDKP on Whitemane Classic Era, we are hoping to build a solid, positive, fun, geared, and hopefully rich community.

Gold Payout Rundown

• There is a base cut for each role

• In addition to the base cut: DPS and healers get bonus % payout based on their performance from logs

• Certain roles get a bonus % (E.g. Tanks, IEA Rogue, Hunter puller, solid druid healer who is important, but in many cases, they cannot compete with the same gear level as a priest or paladin healer in terms of parse)

• Certain tasks get a bonus % (E.g. dispelling, decursing, sunders, etc.) will require acknowledgment as a raid will suffer without these things and are not typically acknowledged/are overlooked in most GDKPs in terms of payout. So to be fair, we acknowledge these important tasks

• Penalties are put in place for certain things...e.g. not decursing on Sapph, or not following general Rise expectations for the raid which are clearly laid out in Discord under Naxx Expectations and AQ40 Expectations.

• We ultimately chose this framework for fairness and incentivizing performance. We welcome feedback!
